In this museum on Place Vendôme, the jeweler Chaumet exhibits its heritage through temporary exhibitions.

Opened in September 2015, the Chaumet Museum reveals the incredible wealth of its archive gathered together by the house since the 1980s. With some 80,000 fine and delicate drawings, 300,000 original prints and 38,000 glass plates, 19,800 invoices that allowed to identify customers and suppliers, over 150 nickel-silver tiara trial models, and more especially, jewelry. Among its priceless treasures, egret feathers from the early twentieth century and a tiara in ears-of-wheat set with diamonds designed for the Empress Marie Louise. Moving from theme to theme, a little jewelry watch from 1980 meets a 19^th-century bracelet of enamelled ivy leaves, or a pair of combs from the early 20^th-century in tortoise shell edged with a gold laurel dotted with pearls. Wonderful escapades. By appointment, it’s also possible to visit the historic rooms of the house, just above the boutique on Place Vendôme, where an impressive collection of tiaras in nickel silver is preserved.
