This “Egyptian necklace” from 1942, signed Suzanne Belperron, is one of the key pieces of the next auction of Artcurial in Monaco. The designer often created ethnical-inspired jewelry, even if she didn’t travel. This influence can be explained by the African and Asian pieces she often admired at the Museum of Fine Arts and Archeology in Besançon, where she went to school. Estimation: 30 000-40 000 €.
