The exhibition creates a dialogue between minerals and Milène Guermont’s works in concrete. Concrete that a viewer called “harnessed mineralogy” during the visit. As both artist and engineer, Milène Guermont shapes the concrete to form panels, planets, crystals… The highlight of the exhibition, the sculpture entitled CRISTAL A in polysensorial concrete: when the visitor touches it, it enters in resonance with the latter’s magnetic field and produces sounds recorded in urban areas by the artist.
Until March 19, 2016 – Musée de minéralogie, Paris.
