Jewelry in Fashion Forward

The exhibition “Fashion Forward – Three centuries of fashion (1715-2016)” illustrates the history of fashion during that period with 300 textile pieces. There are only a few jewels: a brooch and six pendants by Paul and Henri Vever, iconic jewelers of the Art Nouveau period. With their fluid lines, representations of female figures and enamel work, they echo the textile designs at the turn of the century.

Until August 14th 2016 at the Museum of Decorative Arts, Paris.
