Jean-Luc Moulène’s “Os” ring was created from a scan of his thumb. Max Mazlo, a 3D specialist and “digital goldsmith”, then stretched, pierced and compacted it, and finally produced the form in wax. This exoskeletal ring is representative of a new generation for whom the use of new technologies as opposed to handmade opens up an infinite number of new possibilities.
