Calder at Louisa Guinness’s
In an era of standardization, artists’ jewelry has never been so trendy. After pieces by Claude Lalanne, the Louisa Guinness Gallery presents Alexander Calder’s, along with photos of women wearing them. Principally known for his abstract, articulated and mobile sculptures, it’s often ignored that the American artist started out by making twisted, wire necklaces for his sister’s dolls.
