Pieces by Lacloche are sought after by leading collectors. As esteemed as Cartier during the 1920s, the jeweler produced exquisite platinum lace bracelets embroidered with roses, and boxes that were highly prized by elegant women of the Art Deco world. Yet despite its glittering achievements, it closed down in 1967, and vanished from the collective memory\u2026<\/p>\n

In “Lacloche Joailliers”, Laurence Mouillefarine and V\u00e9ronique Ristelhueber retrace the saga of this company. As well as a solidly documented text that reveals its scope and success, the two authors include hitherto unpublished photos of its jewelry, providing the first and only reference tool for collectors and a moment of intense delight for jewelry lovers. This monograph underpins the eponymous exhibition at the \u00c9cole Van Cleef & Arpels, which runs from 23 October to 20 December 2019.<\/p>\n
